Earlier in August 2014, Down to Earth’s distribution agent in Namibia, Sufranja van Zyl, went on a road trip to the north of Namibia to promote our products – the African Potato Cream, Clear Skin Gel and Revive Moisturiser. In the photo she is standing (middle) with the owner of the Spar stores in Ondangwa and Oshikango, Chris de Jager (right), and Kuana (left) who works with him.
A representative, Johanna August, who will be assisting Sufranja with sales in the area, has been appointed to cover the northern towns that run together, including Oshakati, Ongwediva and Ondangwa.
These towns are north of the well-known Etosha National Park. Most people in this area speak the native dialect of Oshiwambo. In Oshikango which borders Angola, Portuguese is also a prominent language.
Down to Earth products have been available in Namibia for some time already, especially in the towns of Windhoek and Swakopmund. Listen out for Sufranja, when she does her weekly interviews on the well-known Namibian radio station, Channel 7.
